What the previous poster said, right here is probably the best you can get.

Just ask away!  Don't be shy about asking anything embarrassing, we've all been there and done that.  For example, I had such painful cramps from after surgery because of the air they blow into your stomach when they perform the laproscopic RNY.  Let's just say the air wouldn't come out of either end.   The nurses I had told me that it would help if I laid on the bed on my elbows with my rear up in the air.....so that's what I did....picture that one!  Talk about a not-attractive moment in my life.

But just ask whatever you need to and we'll be happy to help all we can!

Thanks Ladies. i guess I was just trying to get an idea of the embarrassing stuff to expect. Like body odor gas wiping yourself if there is like a enema or something that needs to be taken pre op. anything that may or may not make me blu****hink I would handle it better if i kinda had a heads up.

Just remember to that all of the medical staff will not care if you pass gas or need an enema, that's their job.  Although,  I had to turn down the offer from one of my recently graduated male nurses offer to give me a suppository.....no way dude, I'll do it myself!    Most any symptom you have as far as gastrointestinal issues should be temporary for the most part.
