Moving forward with the DS surgery...
Well I went to see a new surgeon Dr Anthone Tuesday 7 hours away from my home to see about DS surgery. Now I am waiting on approval as I have everything else done since I was previously scheduled for RNY but cancelled. I feel DS is a better choice for me. Anyway I got the paperwork about diet and vitamins and such and I am really confused on the list it is very slim...it says first six weeks 2 chewable childrens vit daily or bugs bunny complete, calcium one extra strength sugar free tums with each meal...6 weeks optisource or prenatal vitamin, need 1200 mg calcium or 2000 mg calcium carbonate daily, 325 mg ferrous sulfate, probiotics culturelle...I got a list from vitalady but to be downright honest with you I am confused. Any help is appreciated.
