Just getting started, what should I know??

I have just started the process of learning about WLS, I have my educational sessions next week and meet with a nutritionalist next month. My question is:
What do I talk to them about? What questions do I ask? I feel so unprepared & excited & nervous all at once. What did all of you do to get the ball rolling?

Thanks all,
PS... This is my first post on the forums.

I started my research about 4 years ago , my suggestion would be for you to just listen. take a notepad and write your questions. believe me as you go you will have questions. keep your notepad handy and be thorough.

Good luck on your journey

hi girl, wellcome to the board! woow there most be a lot of cuestions u want to ask! ask whatever it comes to ur mind don´t be ashame to ask anything as dumb as it sounds, all cuestions are important.
i would ask to my nutritionist about what can i do to start controling your portions to get ready to surgery, surgery can be hard mental game. if u are not ready for it (it easier than it seams)..
ask about portions after surgery, the stages ur gonna have to be when you are new out.
and ofcourse about suplements and stuff than can help you ones u have surgery to get to ur nutrition goals.
how many calories you should be taking....

and read all you can about the surgery ur gonna have, cuz every surgery is diferenta and need especifi diet. soo get redy for it ur gonna learn a lot!
good luck
and keep us posted
hugs
