Mariana,

I'm so sorry to hear what is happening.  You're young and you party with your friends.  Of course you're tired and it has nothing to do with your surgery.

If it is your family, Ii have a suggestion.  come up with one word (or a phrase) that is a signal for them to back off.  Something like "I love you and I am fine."  Then meet with your family and tell them that every time you say that, they really need to back off because it really upsets you.  Of course you will tell them that you know they are saying things out of love and concern for you but you know your body.  And, if you tell them that, you promise them that you really are fine.

Good luck!

aww im sorry to hear that girl....im sure people just care for you so there concerned.  I understand how that could be annoying though.  You look great by the way.  We all have our days where we feel blah.  Especially us woman...LOL!  Take care, and keep up the good work.

I hear ya. This happens all the time to me. Especially from my family. I realize they're concerned, but geesh.

I usually reply with: "People get tired." or "Some days, everyone, regardless of their health, feels like crap."

I think it stems from our previous fatness. If we felt horrible before, people would just look at us and "blame" it on our obesity. It's easy to see, and easy to make that connection. Now, they have to have something else to blame.

I have no fine words of advice, but I understand the situation, and I can lend support!

I've actually never had anyone relate the two, thank God because that would tork me off.  My first response in my case would be that I have a 2 1/2 year old boy....THAT'S why I'm tired!

I think that people, especially family, will worry about you...but that's a good thing!  I'd be more worried if my family stopped all their "concerns".   I'd just say that you are fine, taken care of nutritionally and just tired because you had a hard day/week/month/life... ;-)
