I DID THAT. I BOUGHT MY VITAMINS THE WEEK OF MY SURGERY SO WHEN I GOT HOME I WAS READY.  TEE HEE.. BUT I TRIED CELEBRATE VITAMINS WHICH WERE GOOD FOR MULTIVITAMIN AND IRON. THIER CALCIUM IS NASTY TO ME. SO I WENT AND BOUGHT BARIATRIC ADVANTAGE CALCIUM CITRATE THE NEW CHEWABLES. THE LEMON FLAVOR IS TASTE LIKE A LEMON STARBURST. REALLY GOOD I MIGHT SAY.  THE B12 I BOUGHT AT WALGREENS, BUT I JUST BOUGHT THE BARIATRIC ADVANTAGE B12 BUT I HAVENT TRIED IT YET.  GOOD LUCK !!!! AND CONGRATS ON THE DATE!!!! I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL...

I purchased from www. bariatricadvantage.com I got my iron/b-12/calcium citrate/multi vitamin/biotin all together for 150 yes its more on the expensive side but its a 3m supply and this site only caters to bariatric patients so virtually everything is sublingual/chewable or dissolvable. I think they also have a kit for 116.00 for rny patients too. Good luck!

I actually just buy the vitamins/calcium/b12 from the drug store/Target/Wal-Mart/Wal-Greens/etc.  To me, the price vs. ingredient ratio of the Bariatric Advantage just wasn't there.  My nutritionists and surgeons have agreed with me on this also, so for my situation it's the way to go.

What I do is look for sales they will have, especially at Wal-Greens, when they put the vitamins on sale for like buy one get one free or 50% off.  I stock up then and can get everything I need at a really reasonable price.  It makes a big difference spending $150/3months to $25/3months...and the quality is, as I said, comparable.

I think as long as you are taking vitamins is what the surgeons are more concerned about than the brand.

Good luck with everything leading up to the big day, I'm excited for you!!
