Okay so honestly I feel like 34 lbs is ALL I am ever going to lose. I had my surgery 34 days ago so actually you could say 1 lb a day but thats now how it happend. The most part of it 25lbs came off like the first 2 weeks and then I lost the other 9 lbs like the next 2 weeks later and now NOTHING. I have been stalled for what feels like forever. I feel like honestly crying my friggin eyes out because it seems like I wont lose ANYMORE. I feel like I have failed.  Stalling is a big tease but right now I feel like I am just "done" and my body said that was enough. Did any of you feel this way? It sucks! Uggh

Welcome to the world of RNY.  I lost 33lbs the first month and I couldn't tell, and couldn't feel any difference let alone I didn't loose anything for about 3 weeks after that.  Thats the way you body adjusts.  You are loosing weight and fast! Your body has no idea whats happening, so it has to stop think about whats happening and re-adjust and then, right back to loosing weight.  I am almost 4 months out and down 55lbs... I'll take it!  Plus with the loosing that much weight your hormones are all messed up and it feels like you constantly PMSing... no worries there!  If you feel like you are loosing your motivation or your mind talk to your doc about anti-depressants.... They saved me!  If you ever need to talk to someone you are more than welcome to e-mail me anytime!

Good Luck! You ARE doing great
Down 63lbs... my scale is sticking to 199.  I am under 200 YAY! Next goal, size 14 pants? October? Maybe? In 18s and a few 16s

I lost ZERO pounds the first 2 weeks postop... then the scale finally moved 2... imagine that? Its rough early out because you want the results so bad... they will come, I promise :-) Your body is taking a much needed break after losing 34lbs... go look at a huge turkey and see how much it weights... how bought a pound of butter... now times 34... thats a lotta weight gilrie.
Focus on your suppliments, protein, nutrition, exercise and making the necessary changes in order to be successful... that will keep you busy as well as pay off in the future.
Also remember to take pictures and do inches... sometimes the scale wont move but your pants will be falling off... anything to show how far youve comes... there are more measures of success than what the scale says!

Great advice never thought of the whole turkey bit or the butter. That is alot of weight. I think its all away in the boobs lol. I know i have gone down 2 sizes in them. To bad Germany it's hard to find DD's. Ugh have to get that in the states. And the jeans a size down. I see in it the clothes just doesn't feel real.

Thanks you both. Great help and it makes me feel like I am deff not alone. And good luck to everyone on their WLS

 Short answer, no you aren't.......lol....

Everyone else gave great input so I don't think I have anything to add.  Just remember though, we didn't gain it all in a day or a week and we won't lose it that fast either.

Good luck!!

Hide the scale. Better yet have a friend hide the scale. Focus on how your body feels. Weigh in once a week, or every two weeks. You will be surprised.
