ok i was wondering can i eat yogurt and i also heard u can eat cream of chicken soup minus the chicken?

r u on clear or full liquids?  yogurt and strained cream of chix soup are full liquids

Yeah, you can. The liquid diet before surgery just prepares you for the liquid diet after surgery. You might  not be able to handle cream of chicken after surgery - it's pretty high in fat, but a little before surgery is probably ok. Yogurt's gonna be a goto food for at least a few weeks after surgery, so there's no problem with that
