NERVOUS/ANXIOUS!!!
I want to warn you that many people stall during the weightloss journey even after the surgery. I lost 15lb quickly then gained 4 back and I have been in a stall for weeks (I am only 4.5 weeks out). This does not happen to everyone but it happened to me. Don't compair yourself to others and follow doctor's orders. You'll be fine. Oh and I think the surgery was painful but others didn't. I just don't want you to be surprised.
You'll be fine I'm sure. Like the saying goes, if I made it through so can you!! I was VERY anxious during the weeks before, but you really need to think about all the positive things that will come out of it. I actually took a mini photo album and put pictures of all the important people in my life that I was doing the surgery for (ex: my godson so I can run around with him w/o getting so exhausted) and also pictures of myself for motivation. My first 2 days after surgery were quite uncomfortable because of all the gas they put into my body - I didn't expect the gas to hurt but FOR SURE IT DID! Thats why you *have* to walk even if you are tired and sore, it helps sooo much, and it'll help you get out of the hospital faster. They gave me pain meds but unfortunately I don't think my body reacted right to them because none of the pain went away nor did they make me sleepy enough to fall asleep. I'm 6 days out now (wow can't believe its been 6 days already!) and am feeling pretty good :) I'm sure you will do awesome!!

1.-understand that WLS is a tool and is not magic u have to work it so follow the rules.
2.- don´t weight urself everysecond it can be a hard mental game, u will lose it!!!
3.- stalls are very comun don´t freak out! lol
4.-DON´T FEEL GUILTY when u eat. now u have to eat to stay healthy and lose the weight
5.- EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE, u need to make it part of ur daly routine before the honeymoon is over.
6. ENJOY!! everyminute this is the wildest ride ever!!
