Any other 20-something VSG'ers?
Hi, all. I will be 29 on Saturday! (29 & holding, that is!) I had my VSG July 7th. I am doing well so far. It's hard for me to find many close to my age that has had VSG. Just wondering is there are any here...I'd love to connect with you!
A bit about myself. I have been married 9.5 years & have 4 children ages 8,6,4,&2. I am a stay at home, homeschooling, softball/baseball mom! I've struggled with my weight for years now & have dealt with hypertension & severe edema for over 8 years. Since my VSG, I've been completely relieved of the edema & taken off my bp meds! YAY!

I'm 22 and had the VSG on July 8th. I'm currently in the full liquids phase and it's kind of driving me crazy! LOL I'm dying to eat more types of food. Next week I can have cottage cheese and peanut butter, along with more soup varieties, so I'm looking forward to that.
I've been obese my entire life, so I felt this surgery was something that I absolutely needed. I cannot wait to see what it feels like to be closer to a normal weight.
I'm dying to ride a rollercoaster. I've always wanted to, so I can't wait to try it when I've dropped some weight!
