Hey everyone hows it going? Hey so i was thinking we should be friends. I think it is difficult to walk through this life with out people who are going through the same thing as you. Since this is a WlS website I think we are either all looking into having surgery, or have had surgery, or are working toward it. So were is everyone from? are you still in college if so were? what do you do for fun? what made you want to have surgery?

Ill answer first

I am from oklahoma born and rasied my whole life

I am currently a Senior at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

I love hanging out with my students ( im a youth minister) i also love playing sports, hanging with my family, friends, going to movies, just chilling. I also love going to sporting events they are fun. Honestly I love being with people. hit me up im on facebook Kevin Rogers

the reason i had surgery is because I want to do things I have never done. like float the river, own a small car, enjoy life in a way I have never done.

I'm from Virginia

I am a teacher, I work with 3-4 grade Autism students

I like to workout, hang out with my friends, sleep

I had surgery because I realized I had high blood pressure and diabetes at a young age.

I'm Alicia, or Alli, whichever

I was born in raised in cold Buffalo, NY

I am a Registered Nurse back in school, planning to get my Masters degree to become a Nurse Practitioner

I love spending time with my daughter and family. A 1 year old definately keeps me busy. When I do have free time I  like to go to movies and concerts and just hang out with friends

I had the surgery because I wanted my life back and wanted to be a good example for my daughter. I wanted to run around and chase her at the park and to be able to start skydiving again.

This journey hasn't been easy, but it'll be worth it in the end

Melissa True, from Maine, I have lived in Maine my whole life- in Auburn till' college, then Bangor/Orono for school, now Augusta where I live with my husband and we own our home.

I am 23, graduated in May 2008 with a social work degree. I am a case manager and work with children with a mental diagnosis.

I love traveling, swimming, sunbathing, singing, music, being with family and friends....

I had surgery so I could look hott, be healthy and have a family!

I`m a Interior designer and i work for a architectural firm in my home town (one of the best ones of the entire country YAY!!!)

I`m a very artistic person love love singing, drawing, painting, designing forniture, houses, dresses hahaha.
ì`m a very down toearth  i love just to hang out with my friends and being around my family. But I LOVE TO PARTY!! lol.
 

i decided to have surgery `cuz i wanted to be able to enjoy my life and me withought thinking about my weight, and `cuz i have live on  a diet every single day of my life since I 8 and did not work so i gave my self the oportunity of being healthy and complete happy for ones in my life.

I'm from NE Ohio. (Boooo.)

I just graduated from Kent State University in December. I have a bachelors of science in nursing and a minor in sign language. I currently work at a Pediatric hospital on a floor for children that have cancer and/or blood disorders (sickle cell mainly). I'm planning on going back to school to get my masters to be a Nurse Practioner (same as Ali! lol)

For fun, I like to read, go for walks in the metroparks, catch up with friends, watch movies. I'm hoping post-surgery, I'll have a lot more energy and will actually enjoy exercising (hoping to take up jogging and biking).

I decided to have surgery because I'm tired of being overweight! I've tried every diet imaginable with no success and I feel that the WLS tool will help me finally meet my goals! I've been over 200lbs since I was 15years old so being at a "normal" weight is going to be a pretty amazing transition for me!

 I'm Carissa and I'm 21. I'm from Houston, TX but I go to school at The University of Oklahoma where I'm a senior majoring in both Health and Exercise Science and Communications. After graduation I'm planning on getting a masters in Public Health. I LOVE sports! In fact, the only thing I probably love more than sports is horseback riding (which is kind of a sport). In addition to that, I love reading, traveling, and playing with my dog-Byron. I decided to have surgery because I felt there were a lot of things I wasn't able to do because of my weight and I wanted to take a big step in changing my life while I was young before my weight got even more out of hand.
