27lbs lost...Is That Good Enough?!

Bobbye
Hey, I had surgery the same day and I lost like 15 the first week and completely stalled for the second week. I think our bodies just have to adjust as they realize that they're in starvation mode. I'm okay with it though because even if the scale isn't changing much the last 4-5 days, the inches are falling off.
HI Mizzar ,
there is no ideal weight amount to be lost every week , this is something that varies from one person to the other , and it depends on so many factors .everyone is different . try not to compare yourself to others cuz it can be irritating sometimes.
just follow the rules and take it easy on yourself you are only 3 weeks only out.
as for 27 pounds in 3 weeks that's awesome girl .and it's enough and it 's very very very good donot worry about the scale so much and expect a stall it happened to me 4 weeks post op and lasted for 3 weeks
donot worry too much just come here and ask all you need.
good luck

27lbs in 3 weeks? OMG... that doesn't sound possiable - yet you have accomplished it! If ever the day I lose 20lbs in less than a months time frame - I will be jumping for joy! Honestly girl... that is super awesome for 3 weeks. I'd say don't get used to that type of a drop cause it doesnn't last long!!
Best for your continued success!
I'm not sure if there is an "ideal" weight to lose every single week because our bodies have their own rhythm they follow. I lost 15lbs the first two weeks and now I'm down 94lbs in 7 months but some people have already hit over 100lbs in 7...it just depends. How heavy you are now makes a difference. I don't think it's anything you are doing wrong, it's just how your body is handling the major surgery it just had, it's in shock!
