stalls?
I think I might be hitting my first stall...I have been 261/262 since Friday.
How long out were you before you hit your first stall, how long did it last? Did you do anything special to "get over it"...
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT, My goal is 5 pounds every week, I so want to be under 250 by August 1st....thats 11 pounds I need to lose in like 2/3 weeks.

My first major stall was about 4 months out, and it lasted about a week. But they seem to come more frequently as I get closer to my goal weight. I think a stall is really just your body adapting to whatever it is you're doing to lose weight in an attempt to stop losing weight. For me it seems to help to change the number of calories I'm eating (I usually actually eat more for a few days), change the workout I'm doing, change the amount of time I workout, etc. A lot of people actually go back on the strict diet they had immediately following surgery, and it helps for some people.
THANKS!!!!!! I plan on working out and hiding my scale too, but not for any longer than 1 week...haha

While it is good to have goals its important for them to be realistic as well as you have to be ready to not meet the goal. Move your focus onto your nutrition, exercise and breaking bad habits and the rest will follow. In the long run that will benefit you so much more than keeping focused on the scale.
My first 6 month average was just under 10lbs a month.. thats about 2-3 lbs a week... it took me 18 months to reach my goal weight!
