2 days out and home from the hospital...

should i be taking my vitamins as of just yet? im still on clear liquids untill i pass some gas so i really dont think taking my vitamins will help...so im going to email my NUY but i want to know what to expect in the next few days??? any advice would be appriciated...thanks in advance

Ah man, I cant remember if I was taking them or not that early out.  I want to say no, I waited until I was on purees which was a week after surgery.  Congrats on ur new life! 

hi i didn´t start taking the "vits" after 1 month out or maybe a lil more, `cuz my dr gave me some prenatal vitamins for the 1th month i don´t rember exacly how much time i took them.  and i started taking them like 3 days post op i just made sure i cheweed real well. but the best time to find out is to call your surgeron.
now i take the centrum chewebles.

i was told no vits until i was cleared for them at my first post op appt, which for me was 2 weeks later to get that HORRIBLE drain out!! 

I was told to take the flinstones and chewable calcium and Sublingual disolvable B12 as soon as I got home from the hospital. As you can see we all did it differently. I would definitely call your nutrionist and ask him or her what they want you doing specifically.
