Doing good   Trying to get all my protein in.  I see Jackie on Tuesday.  I had turkey sausage tonight.  It was yummy and loaded with protein.  I'm going to try that again tomorrow.  At work I've learned to only take things I know will settle.  Are you back at work?  Is it going good?

I went back to work two weeks ago, this is my 3rd week. Everything is good all around, a few things hurt going down somethings but I just stop eating right away and take a break....tuna is my least fav. but I take it to work becuase I know it has a good amount of protein.

What do you do for work?

I am the Administrative Manager for the Maine Cancer Registry.  Basically I work for the state and pay all the bills and do contracts/budgets, that sort of thing.  I really like my job.

Sounds like your having a better time holding things down than me, but mine has been weird anyways trying to get carbs in.  I met with Jackie this morning and she had some new ideas.  I'm giving up on cookies and going to wheat breads before bed.  Less sugar, more carbs.  I am not losing as fast as she would like, but she said theres nothing I can do about it.  I'm losing 1 to 2 pounds a week.  Not spectacular, but that's ok.  Have a great day at work!

Hi!  Congrats on the move up the ladder  :)  I was just wondering what kind of diet progression did you do?  I seen a nutritionist at a different hospital than the one I ened up havin surgery at.  (LONG story!)  And the diet I was sent home on is way different than the one I learned about.  Week 1 was clear liquids  week 2 was full liquids  week 3 was pureed  week 4 (current) is soft foods.  I dont know where to go from here!  Just wonderin about yours......

good luck with this journey!
