Hello Hello! New to the boards
Hi, I am Allison. I'm 25, currently preparing for RNY. I still have to have an endoscopy and the Dr. can't get me in for a month. (And that's not even the procedure, just the consult! So annoying.) Anyway then we submit to insurance and set a date. I've been reading some of the other boards and just stumbled across this one today and I'm so happy to have found it. I was wondering how people my age were dealing with WLS. So anyway just wanted to say hi. And I was wondering about saggy skin at this age. I've read a few post that talked about having it. I was kind of hoping we would skip that because we are younger and skin is more elastic. Damn...
Hey girl welcome to the board! :) I had my RNY a year ago, i was 21. I will for sure need plastics... my tummy isnt TOO bad but i will get a tummy tuck, breast lift and arm lift. my arms ended up looking the worst- i HATE them hahah but of course i have no regrets about the surgery :) good luck with everything coming up!

I am only a few weeks out and I have the same questions. But then again saggy skin is better than a lot of skin and more tha 100lbs. of fat under. Ewww... plus you can cover up most fat with clothes. I have also noticed that I am colder now because of the reduced calories. It's 82 degrees in my home right now and I have pants and long sleaves. And I feel great. If I took a nap I would wear a blanket. It's really cool. Good luck!
