You need to get subligual B12  and you can find that anywhere like Wal-Mart or Target..just make sure it's subligual.   Yes you can take biotin to help regrow hair if you lose it.  I got the Target store brand and they are a very tiny pill.

I'm not sure about the chewable calcium citrate or the protein but they do have just protein shots that are a fruit punch flavor.  IMO they are horrid but good in a pinch if you have to.

Good luck!

Hey well first of all congrats on the upcoming date! Secondly I take Building Block vitamins. I get them at my surgeons office and they are kinda pricey but made specifically for bariatric patients. You can look them up online. I know that other people use the Bariatric advantage and really like them. I think that at least for the first few months it's good to use vitamins geared specifically for people who've had surgery...just my opinion. Hope you get it all figured out.

I use the same b-12 and multivitamin that Mariana above uses. I also get my iron supplement at Walmart. For my calcium, I use this:

http://www.vitacost.com/Lifetime-Liquid-Calcium-Magnesium-Citrate-Lemon-Custard#IngredientFacts

It's slightly inconvienent since it has to be refridgerated, but it tastes incredible. It has a tiny amount of sugar in it, but it's such a small amount it doesn't bother me. Also the nutrition stats they give for it actually lists the amount of elemental calcium you're getting (which is the most important part). I go through about 2 bottles/month. They ship as much as you want for $5, so I usually order a three month supply for about $50 shipped. They have other flavors too, just avoid the orange flavor. The BA chewables are really good too, but they seemed very expensive when you factor in that you have to eat like 5 or 6 of them a day.

I think that protein supplement you're referring to is the special K stuff. I tried it - it's really expensive and it isn't much better then mixing in a small amount of unflavored whey in a drink of your choice. also it's only like 4g of protein in a serving or something. I've seen it at walmart in the vitamin area and near the crystal light (I think they have it in both areas).

Hey There!

I think the protein you may be thinking about is Nectar--there are a lot of flavors on Amazon. Just read the reviews and find out which ones are the best ones!

Hope that helps!
