How's exercise going?
The topic hasn't come up in awhile on the board so I just wanted to see how everyone (pre and post op) is doing getting their exercise in. Since it's summer, we have no more excuses!
I'm still pretty consistant with about 6-8 hours a week, mixture of cardio classes, toning, weight lifting, jogging and chasing a two year old!
Love to hear how everyone else is doing! Vent your struggles if you have any, we're all here to help!

I read a funny interview in Health magazine with the other lady from 30 Rock who's not Tina Fey (can't think of her name...Jane K-something) and she was asked what her favorite exercise is. Response: One set of one .... Worst exercise? Anything over one set of one....
I've been there before.... :-)

how come every time i exercize, I do my weekly weigh in and I lose no weight. Then i do nothing for a week and lounge (ok not totally i have a 3 yr old) I lose 2-5 lbs in 7 days.
I dont get it. It really makes me want to not work out.
Pre op I was always good at the dieting part and not the exercize part. I thought that once I lost 50 or 100 lbs I would be more active but Im realizing that my lazyness is more hereditary then weight related.
At least I am a fantastic dieter and have never gone off diet except for this weekend, allthough I dont know if crackers and half a whole wheat pita bun counts as cheating. oh and 2 spoonfulls of ice cream cake. My daughter wanted to feed me and I couldnt say no to both of them. :( oops!
But Monday is here and all is well since Im in my own kitchen and my willpower is back!
