3 months out
Hi, everyone. It feels like forever since I've posted on here, anyways; I'm just over 3 months out and I still LOVE my band. I have lost just over 70lbs including preop weight loss. I can't believe that it has been 3 months that just blows me away. I have gone from a 22/24 to a 14/16 which I don't remember the last time I wore that size. This has been the best decision I have ever made. I need to up my protein though, I dont think I'm getting enough. I can't stand the protein powders so does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get in enough protein? Thanks for taking the time to read this!

To get my protein, I will have tuna salad or a grilled chicken breast and have that (or similar) with a few veggies. I love doing deli meat roll ups with some cheese or a little cream cheese. Also, if you are still struggling there are a few good low sugar protein bars out there. You might only want to start with half to see how they affect you but i use those on occasion when I don't get a lot of protein in during the day.
