3 months out

Hi, everyone. It feels like forever since I've posted on here, anyways; I'm just over 3 months out and I still LOVE my band. I have lost just over 70lbs including preop weight loss. I can't believe that it has been 3 months that just blows me away. I have gone from a 22/24 to a 14/16 which I don't remember the last time I wore that size. This has been the best decision I have ever made. I need to up my protein though, I dont think I'm getting enough. I can't stand the protein powders so does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get in enough protein? Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Congratulations on your weight loss!  70lbs is fantastic!  

 

To get my protein, I will have tuna salad or a grilled chicken breast and have that (or similar) with a few veggies. I love doing deli meat roll ups with some cheese or a little cream cheese.  Also, if you are still struggling there are a few good low sugar protein bars out there.  You might only want to start with half to see how they affect you but i use those on occasion when I don't get a lot of protein in during the day.

I eat 3-4 oz of any meat at every meal and veggies at every meal. My breakfast is fish and broccoli but im getting all my protein by the end of the day.
congrats on how much you have lost. It feels especially good since its summertime! whoo its like taking off a winter jacket and your light!

im also trying to up my protein, i finally found a shake i actually LOVE..click!
Ive also discovered that adding  1oz servings of turkey jerky twice a day really has helped...i LOVE that stuff...its super soft in comparison to regular jerky!
