ever get dizzy?
hey ya'll !
so today on a few occasions i got extremely dizzy. i tried to play it off and eventually was fine, but now thinking about it i am kinda scared.
the few times it happened i got up to quickley and i was like woah. i was at the gym and it happened twice. i had breakfast before i went and had water with me and stayed hydrated. the other times it happened today was getting out of the car and off the couch.
has this ever happened to anybody else>?? ive been really fatigued lately too, but i just think thats because ive been a crazy workaholic the past 2 weeks. i actually got to sleep in today, maybe my body was in shock. lmao
if anybody has any ideas plz let me know id mucho appreciate it!
xoxo

I get dizzy spells that go along with my arthritis (yup, it's complicated), but I also noticed more dizzy spells after surgery.
Solution:
MAKE SURE YOU ARE TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF
Be on your best behavior. Get your water in. Get in enough food (dizziness and hunger go hand in hand). Make sure your protein is up and you're taking your vitamins. Also, get enough sleep.
Oddly enough, your body DOES perform better if you are treating it well (scary thought, I know).
If you're really scared about it, CALL YOUR SURGEON! But I'm gonna guess that treating yourself right will resolve the issue.
Good Luck!

That happens to me all the time and it happened before surgery as well.
From what you describe (getting up fast, getting up off the couch) it sounds like you are having the dizzy spells from a rapid change in blood pressure due to sudden changes in elevation. Nothing to worry about, just try to keep your head above your heart when you bend down and bend with your knees and try getting up slower from lower places. When you are working out, try to let your heart rate slow down a bit before you bend down to get anything.
I don't necessarily think it's surgery related just by what you said...I wouldn't worry.

Hey hun if u notice it happens when ur simply walking or sitting its a sure sign of a vitamin B1 deficiency...another symptom of this is an abnormal surge of heat in ur feet for no apparent reason! Be careful, I've hit the ground while just walking down my hallway (didn't actually go completely out but the room was swaying and I was starting to see black) caught myself w/ my knee****ting the ground (ouch!). Aside from that just be very careful w/ ur transitions!!! Good luck
