Time is slowing down

It seems like ever since I started my WLS journey, time has slowed down.  Previous months flew by, but now, I feel like each week that comes drags along.  I will be done with all my requirements for insurance approval at the end of July.

Did anyone else experience this?  Did the months go by slow for you when you first started your journey?

Yes...I have only just begun...I scheduled my psych eval on Wednesday and my appointment was for today, but it seemed like it took a really long time for today to get here. I think we count the days till our surgery date so it seems like it goes by slower. We want so bad for that day to come that it just lags.

HEY, ALL I CAN SAY IS I STARTED MY JOURNEY 4 MONTHS AGO, HAD MY FIRST APPT ON THE 25TH OF MAY AND NOW MY SURGERY DATE IS THE 29TH OF JUNE AND IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYDAY I STILL HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF DAYS TO GO AS I DID THE DAY BEFORE. IT IS GOING BY SOOOO SLOW I CAN'T STAND IT.  SO I THINK THIS IS NORMAL. BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHEN YOU WANT TIME TO GO FAST IT STANDS STILL AND VISE VERSA IT'S REALLY NERVE RACKING. I HOPE YOUR DAYS AHEAD SPEED UP, MAYBE TRY AND FIND SOMETHING TO KEEP YOU BUSYH UNTIL THEN LIKE WORKING OUT AND STUFF. MAYBE THAT WOULD HELP.

It took me over 9 months from start to surgery!!  It was all worth it though!

I think I'm the only one who feels like time is going by so fast!  I started this proccess in January and now here we are almost 6 months later and I still don't have everything finalized by my goal date.  **** I haven't had surgery yet.  You see... I started off with the mindset that I would have my procedure done in March and by the time my b-day came in July I'd be down about 40lbs by my 29th b-day.   OMG... so as you can see I feel like the months have just flown past me since we are approaching July in a few weeks and I have gained more weight which is super depressing in itself.   Oh well... my time will coime soon enough I guess.

On another note, so happy for you!!  July 27th will be here so fast.  Keep your research strong until you get on the table!  I've been obessed with OH since Jan - I truely believe this site has greatly contributed to me thinking time has flown by....especially when you see other post opers who had their surgery done over the last few months and they are posting with their weightloss numbers.  Seems like yesterday - Blanca was writing us to say her sugery date had been moved up.... that was back in Febraury.  OMG OMG OMG.

Sorry I started to ramble a bit...

Good luck girlie...
