I'm home!
OK so I am finally home and here to stay!
I had my surgery on Wednesday and everything seemed to go off without a hitch. They sent me home the next day and I was ready to start my puree. However I did have a minor set back. I woke up Thursday morning and after a few minutes I started throwing up profusely. We rushed back to the hospital to see my doc and he was literally clueless as to what was happening. I was vommiting so much that he was scared he said he hadn't really seen anything like it. He ordered me a CT stat and I was readmitted thinking that I may have a kink or some kind of bowel obstruction. Well my CT result came back normal and we figured out that my intestines seemed to still be asleep from the surgery. They were therefore not allowing anything to pass down and had to come up. It was very scary but they did wake up and started working.
I am now home again and hoping everything else works. Has anyone else experienced this?
Well anyways thanks to everyone fopr their prayers and kind words, this forum has been such a huge comfort and help. You guys all rock!
