OT: Considering Hair Perm
Hello Everyone!
Ok so my surgery is less than a month away (July 6th Yay), and i like most everyone else is terrified of hair loss. Ive been steadily losing hair since i hit puberty and do not have the thick hair i once had. So anyway ive been trying to grow my hair out for the past six months and its kinda gotten to that frumpy stage where im hating it! So i though a perm would be the perfect answer for me. Im thinking it will help get me through the next six months without taking scissors to it, and also maybe help hide some surgery related hair loss? What do you guys think? Anyone tried a perm and loved it? Hated it? What should i be asking for? I dont want ta tight spiral perm, i want bigger curls. Anyone got before and after pics?
thanks for nay input

as a hairstylist- if you hair frail or fine hair now- i would NOT do it. I mean its not a joke about the thinning- i swearim half bald right now and i HAVE a lot of hair. Perms can begin looking limp and make your hair very dull especially if you have color (bleach in it-which it looks like you might- perming is not reccomended..) for the integrity of your hair.....
