pills post-op
Not complaining but has anyone noticed that post-op pills are gigantic?
Just got home for the doctor and am thankfully off of chewables. Multi...fine no probs there. Actigal..not too big and can do. Now the iron and calcium citrate...those things are horse pills.
To anyone who has problems with large pills, how did ya do it?
I know I am going to have to cut them in half but they will still be large and now add weird shaped. I am also afraid of them getting stuck. So any advice will help.

caltrate makes a calcium called "petites" that are smaller then usual and are coated to slide down easier. you might have to chop them in half. I had to crush mine for a good month before I got the guts to swallow one of those horse pills.
good luck and when in doubt crush em up.
you will be swallowing horse pills no problem in no time
