Hi All, I'm new here!
Hi Everyone! I'm Jen, I'm 23 and from New Jersey. I've been lurking around here for a few weeks, not sure if I would post or not. However, I just got my surgery date and needed to share the excitement and nervousness with others who would understand. My surgery is scheduled for July 13...after 6 months of nutrional counseling, I can't believe I finally have a date!!

I have been posting on th eother boards for a few months and just recently came across this one. It is soo good to see that other young people like myself have and will be going through this sugery. I feel I will be able to relate better. I had my surgery on May 11th.. almost a month ago, its crazy. My life has already been changing... I hate that I can't eat like I used to but I also love it... people have noticing my weight loss which is awsome... and I am really hopeing that soon I will be out in the dating world. that is scarey.... I live in PA. am 23 years old and live with my cousin in a nice apartment...
I look forward to reading everyones posts....
