Your daily food menu...

Hey I am having a hard time getting together a menu for a day with enough protein and calories.
What does your daily menu look like?
I feel like I am way off track and keep going through stalls.... I know I could just be over-reacting.
Any comments would help!
Down 63lbs... my scale is sticking to 199.  I am under 200 YAY! Next goal, size 14 pants? October? Maybe? In 18s and a few 16s

 I guess in a nutshell: 

Breakfast: Protein shake and oatmeal with light soy milk or an egg

Midmorning - South Beach Bar

Lunch - Chicken salad made with canned chicken, Tbsp light mayo over some spinach and maybe some All Bran crackers

Around 3ish - Decaf coffee with Torani syrup and some light vanilla soy milk.  Perhaps some cheese cubes if I'm a little hungry.  

Dinner - This depends because I try to cook something for the whole family.  We've been grilling out lately, so I'll have hubby throw me on a chicken breast or some shrimp.  If we are out, I'll just have a burger without the bun and some sort of veggie and a little fruit.  

Snack (not every night) - greek yogurt with some fruit or kashi mixed in or maybe a 100 calorie bag of popcorn.   

Throughout the day I drink water or green tea.  I may eat more carbs then some but I for me it's unrealistic to cut them out completely so I try to make sure that they are good, whole grains with lots of fiber.

breakfas.  1 cup of apple + 1 light yougourt  + 1 t spoon of oatmeal.
mid mornig: one of those diet cereal bar 100 cal.
lunch: chicken salad with light dressing.
dinner: 2 eggs + veggetables + 3 bran crackers.


this is a tipical day.

Marianna- Is that ALL you eat on a typical day?  If so, that is nowhere near enough, you are starving yourself!

You should check out the RNY board each day for a thread called " What are you doing/eating today?"  Lots of options there.  Especially from Shari (Jupiter6), Nik (Cleopatra_Nik, and Pam T. They balance their meals daily.  A good rule of thumb is to attempt to get 40% protein, 30% Carbs, and 30% fat in your diet each day.  Good Luck!
