fear of not losing?
Ok so my pre-op is friday and that's when I start my 2 week liquid diet. Surgery is June 19th 9am I'm so excited! So here's the thing before I got my date I feared I never would get a date and now that I have one I'm so scared that even if I do it all right that I won't lose. I'm so terrified that I will do this major surgery and it will all be for nothing. Please tell me I'm not crazy and that I'm not the only one. I hope everyone is doing good and enjoying the warm temps! Love ya!
I completely understand!! I am having surgery on June 16th and I feel the same way! I remember waiting for a date thinking I would never get one and now here it is around the corner and I'm still afraid I'm going to screw something up and they won't do my surgery. I was also afraid I wouldn't lose weight but after being on this sight and seeing so many people make such amazing transformations I'm more motivated than ever!! But I remember thinking how this is the most drastic thing I can do to lose weight and what if it doesn't work :( but I'm just trying to stay more positive now. You will lose weight! I'm sure you'll do just fine :)
I understand. I've had that thought more than once, especially after I lost a bunch and then had a bad stall.
Just remember that it's practically impossible not to lose weight in the beginning, you will pretty much regardless of what you eat. After that honeymoon phase though, you have to be so very careful because you can gain again. That's why during the first few months it's crucial to install the good habits of weighing and measuring food, reading lables, eating the protein, exercise, water, etc.
It's all a lot of information and uncertainty to digest (pardon the pun) but it's really not as overwhelming once it's done and you are living the life.
Best of luck to you!!

I have my surgery scheduled too and I have experienced both of those fears! I am terrified, but I think it's all about making yourself... it's not gonna happen like magic, and we both know if we want it bad enough, we can do it! Good luck!

hey girl so happy for you. this tool def works you will lose!! but it also depends of how u fallow the rules this is not magic and u have to be very aware of that. u have to work it. 1th 6 months are crazy awesome and then things start to get a lil more real and u have to try to change ur habits by then if u don´t u are gonna be in trouble lol. this is not over when u get at at goal u have to be aware of ur eating and excercise for the rest of your life i know it sounds kindda drastic but is just a change of life style u are gonna get use to it fast so don´t worry.
is very normal to feel like we are gonna fail and all of that ...but remember so many years of tryin and tryin and not losing is hard thing to deal with but this WILL WORK you`ll se this time is gonna be diferent and u are gonna succed be healhty and more beautiful than u are now. so smile keep it positive and follow the rules.
keep us posted.
