Whoa...lots of new faces

Hello everyone! I am an "oldie" on the boards...had surgery August 20th 2007. I was extremely active  here pre-op and just after surgery but have dropped off since...but I am back and feel I have so much to share about my experience---my life has changed COMPLETELY since surgery and i see so many new faces I can't help but post. My highest weight was 313 and i was 297 at surgery. I have lost 151 lbs total. Suprisingly I am still losing and should be at goal of 140 by my 2 year mark. I did hit a very long plateu-and finally figured out how to break them and have lost steadily since...It has everything to do with Protein. Carbs and Cardio everyday!

Well I just wanted to say hi to the few familiar faces and newbies!

HI Mandy nice to meet you and hear such a story. I am going to be 3 weeks post op tomorrow and am down about 30lbs... i feel great... my weight is near what yours was! Your an inspiration for sure!

Hey im kate, im still pre-op. surgery is set for june 15th, so the count down is on. just wanted to say hey, and letcha know you look greattt =)

Thank you girls! Seriously if you guys have any questions-especially some that you don't feel comfortable asking on the boards--feel free to message me. I truly feel like this entire process has been a huge emotional and physical rollercoaster and i have done some true soul searching trying to make sense of it all...So I am an open book :)

I bet it has been, I can only imagine what kind of soul searching ill be up to doing when I feel ready too. The world is such a huge place, I feel like ive limited myself to such a small area of it.

Hi Im Erika and Im 6 months post op and about 85lbs down! woo hoo! Im the same size I was when I met my husband, and Im pretty sure Im going to get even smaller! also my husband was deployed when I was at 5 months and he wont come bac****il Im at 1 yr. Boy is he going to be surprised to see me! Hope he recognizes me!

Hey Im Lakrisha I am 7 months out and down 93 lbs.... gooooo me!!! lol.... anyway I don't get on as much as I use to before surgery..... its good to have you back and you look amazing!

Hey girl hey!  I'm Rachel, I'll be a year out next week and I'm down 122 lbs, yes its the most amazing experience ever!  The best decision I ever made for sure!  Welcome back :)
