SV and NSVies
That's plural, people!
Well, my first one is a scale victory. As of this morning, I've reached the 150's!! 159.2. It's so weird because I've always thought that people who weigh in the 150 are skinny. Though I can't use that word to describe myself, I'm pretty pleased with my progress.
The NSV's happened this past week. First, I play in our city's municipal summer band and we just started rehearsals in the past 2 weeks. One of the guys that plays in the percussion section with me came up to me after rehearsal last week and said that when he first walked in and saw me he thought that we had someone new in our section. That's a compliment! Second, about 15 minutes ago I was sorting through a basket of clean, folded laundry and mistook one of my shirts for my 2 year old sons....it looked that small. Now, that one is more of a mixture of a NSV and me being an idiot, but I'll take it! Third, I fit into a pair of size 11 juniors, not-stretchy-at-all-jeans this weekend and the bonus was I got them on sale at JC Penny for $3.98. Go me.
