try a stool softener before you go to a full on laxative, and as always check with your surgeon to see what they recommend. I used dulcolax stool softener when it was an issue!

ill not mention details but I have used miralax for the past 3 years and you will be really happy with the results. Mix it with something with flavor, just no****er, because you will taste it if you mix it with water.
Everything else I have used caused the opposite problem of constipation, this is the gentlest on your pouch and intestines
