Hey Emilie,
I am 27 years old, Got my Cosmetology license when I was 18, (I dont work though I am a stay at home mom I just dont have anybody to watch my kids) I have been married since I was 21 and also been a mom since I was 21 LOL. So I definatly feel old! I have 2 boys 6 years and 1 year and we do normal married with kids thing. you know..pretty much everything revolves around the kids which is great but I sometimes forget what it feels like to be "young" again! LOL Its funny because Friday night out for us means we get the kids dressed cute and go shopping around Target! LOL for real we do that every Friday night....I remember when Friday nights were Party Time!! LOL thats long gone! lol. I definatly feel like I should be posting in the 30s forum! lol. Well I hope feel better knowing your not alone =)

 Hi Emilie,
"Old by living" definitely describes my lifestyle.  I'm 26 also, married with a daughter who is almost 5.  An exciting evening for me is going to the movies to see a Disney or Pixar movie.

Oh yay!! I was so excited to see so many replies when I got on this afternoon :) Thanks, and very, very nice to meet all of you!!  My pre-op testing is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of June, I can't believe it, as long as everything comes back OK, the nurse at my weight loss clinic said between the 16th of June, and the first week in July!! Anyone ever have doubts, feel guilty for going through surgery that you could possibley  die from, when you have kids? I feel like I want to make them a tape of me singing to them ( we sing at night) and write a letter and all that, but than that just makes me want to back way, way out....And I want to feel like a healthy 30 year old by the time I get there. I am tired of feeling like a my body is the body of a 65 year old, joint pain, back hurts, huffing and puffing etc....I know losing weight will make me a better mother as I won't be so fatigued all of the time, and I won't have to tell my little boy "no honey, mommy can't go on the slide with  you, we would have to call the fire department to get mommy unstuck, and that wouldn't be fun" (at which point a very inquisitive look comes across his face as though he thinks that just might be fun) Anyways, wrote a book, thanks so much for writing me back guys, I look forward togetting to know everyone!!

Goodness am I scared of the "Possibility" absolutley...but then again there was a possibility of dying when I had them...and for them to have a un-healthy mom isn't an option! I am so motiviated to do this its unbelievable. I have 4 days until my surgery and I stay awake thinking about what I should do before...and seriously I am not going to do much...I am going to kiss them, hug them, love on them and say see you in a little...thats it. I am going to be so positive through the whole thing. It's not just for them....its for me too! And I trust my surgeon, hospital, and staff and I trust in my relationship with god...it will be good.
