Work Outs/boost
Alright everyone- I haven't lost as much weight as I'd like to and I am TRUST me to blame for that-ish. I got mixed up partying wayyy too much drinking wayyy too much booze, but now I am sober, drinking lots of water eating my protein working out again, mostly walking/jogging and pilates..but I am wondering if anyone can give me a work out tip or somehting to boost this weightloss and get it moving again I am almost 4 months post op. I started at 238 lbs and today I sit at 188lbs. My goal weight is 130 per the dr and 118 from my insurance company, Honestly I'd be happy at 140. I dont even care. I just want to do this right. So--if anyone has any special work outs meal plans, ideas, support- I'll take it- I am finally taking life seriously and getting back in ot the OH community.
Well it sounds like you are back on track, I would just suggest going by your surgeon/nuts meal plans. If not have you ever checked out eggface's website? www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com, she puts every thing she has ever made on there! and there is alot of good stuff on there for people like us. You should also check out the recipie forum on here, go under forums and weight loss related, there is good stuff that other people contribute. I'm further out than you and can eat almost everything now but I still try my best to stay away from carbs and other crap that isn't going to help me. You know what you've got to do, its just time to do it and you can! If you need someone to talk to we are always here :)
hey girl. I do 1 hr cardio (taebo) an then 1 hr pilates. the pilates is working wonders!. i love it soo much.
but if you can get a personal trainer it would help you a lot! i`m thinking seriuosly about getting one the next mont. i`ll let u know how the thing goes.
i know what you mean about partying and drinking 2 much. this new confidence makes u feel in the mood of partying and party comes with drinking hahaha 4 me is very hard to go out and not have a drink. but i really try. if you stop u should start dropping weight again. let me knon how it goes.
