coffee Espresso?
do you drink coffee or espresso? pre surgery I drank espresso drinks with milk and chocolate in them, but I no longer can drink milk or chocolate. Soo black coffee is the only option, and I drank that too.
My question is: does the caffeen irratate your pouch? Will it give me the......poops? Im so tired of being tired all day and I hate hate hate tea.

dude,
so i work at starbucks and tried a caffinated espresso drink last week.
i feel all out of it and think i dumped from a skniny cinnoman dolce latte. just from 2 sips of an iced one!
what hasnt bothered me thou, is when i had a 1/2 caf of the same drink.
i have a customer thats like 5 years out and she can finallly drink caffiene.
i didnt notice how far out you are, but so far other then 1/2 caf ive been doing alot of tea.. i know you hate it but theres so much variety out there! if you have a whole foods near you they have a huge variety!
good luck!

Coming from a former caffeine addict, if you can try to stay away from it, you are doing yourself a favor. Fatigue can be a sign of dehydration, so making sure you are getting plenty of fluids may combat the tiredness. I drink a mug of decaf coffee with a bit of sugar free flavored creamer and that takes care of my coffee needs for the day.
Sometimes it's hard for me to find a variety of drinks that are caffeine/sugar free but I as the other poster said there are tons of great flavored teas out there.

I am 3 months post op and asked my surgeon just recently about having coffee...he said it was perfectly ok, just dont go having more then a cpl of cups per day. The reason i even asked was because i wanted to try Click protein powder, which contains caffeine and people have been raving about....well i got some, tried it and i LOVE it.

I was told no coffee or other gastric irritants for the first month. Since my 1 month post op date I can drink coffee with no problem. I can drink the other things because I don't dump, but I stay away from them if possible! Empty calories! I'll get an iced vanilla coffee with skim milk and put splenda in it at Starbucks if I want something cold.
