avatar problems

literally, I can't change my avatar for anything. I tried uploading the new one a ton of times, and it will show on the page uploaded but it wont change on messages or on my profile. I left it overnight and it didn't change. then I took off the old pic so I had nothing, and then re-inserted the new one- instead of the question mark or the new pic, I still have the old one. anyone have any ideas?

I think sometimes your browser can have issues viewing the new avatar. I've seen this complaint on a lot of boards. Don't know how to fix it though, maybe search in the help?

Try clearing your cache (your browser is storing your old picture instead of downloading the picture each time, since you're on this website so much). In any browser, I think you can do CTRL + F5 to bypass the cache and reload a certain page. If that doesn't work, you can clear the entire cache.
