Stalled already?
I've only lost 3 lbs since the 1st, it's very frustrating. I've lost 19 since my surgery, but I see others losing more than I am at the moment.
I'm trying to stay positive, I want to get back to exercising more regularly but my abs are killing me on one side. they hurt to sit, they hurt to stand... and I sneezed today, I thought I would cry from pain.
I keep second guessing myself weither I ate enough or not, if I'm eating too much, am I drinking enough water? It seems like I'm eating and drinking all the time.
I'm also having trouble writing down what I've eaten. It seems dumb, but I know I portion size and it's nutritional value then I can't eat it all and I don't know what to write down... I'm overwhelmed by this whole thing. I don't want to whine, but I'm having a time of it.

just remember, you are different, everyone is different! dont get discouraged b/c your not losing as much as someone else. all things considered 19lbs is a lot!! just keep doing what your supposed to, and you will watch the weight fall off. i realized when i stopped watching the scale...and just paid attention to my clothes.....i was dropping sizes left and right.
dont worry about numbers! just be you and do your program....GOOD LUCK! Welcome to the losers bench!

hey hun do not be discouraged, you've lots lots! Just remember there is no way you could have lost that in a cpl of weeks pre op!! The surgery is doing its job, right now you need to just focus on recovering and ensuring you eat and drink what you can. as far as writing stuff down...i found i had the same issue, served myself so much but then didnt eat it all and had no idea what i really ate. I found it was much easier to just count the spoonfuls of food. I was averaging 2 1/2 to 3 table spoons of "food" at your stage.
it will get easier.
p.s. i stalled for 2 weeks at around week 3...this too shall pass hun!!
your body is going through a lot and probably stuck in "WTF" mode lol
and im a firm believer in holding off on major workouts for as long as your body is losing on its own. It will slow your weight loss for a bit because of the muscle building. i JUST started working out.

Your post really helped me! I am in my 6th week post op and when I was weighed in on the day of surgery I was 258 when I came home I was 258 and at 4 weeks I was down to the 230's but I am stuck there..I want to see the scale read 220 something so bad...I was able to get to mid 230's with a diet before but never less than that...I am suffering with constipation really bad...but I will concentrate on my protein and water for the rest of this month and see what happens.
aww girl don´t you worry about that!!!!! your body is adjusting to the changes you just have surgery!!!. i lonly lost 17 lbs the 1th two months!! and they i start dropings so don´t worry the weight will come off. just be pattiend and follow the rules.
u cannot fix in a week all your weight problems so be patient it works i promisse
hang in there

I remember right after my surgery I lost weight for the first four weeks then two weeks with no movement on the scale. It really isn't a stall it is just your body take a short break to catch up. Keep falling your plan and the weight will start falling again. If you weigh everyday you can only see the scale as a number. If the scale starts to consume you--you may need to take a break from the scale.
You can do this--the majority of it is a mental battle, it is a great ride though!!!!

i had my surgery the 15th and trust me girl that is progress, right now my body is also doing the "WTF" thing and holding on to the pounds, but my clothes still feel bigger each day even though the scale isnt moving.
You simply cannot be beaten if, at the end of the day, some tiny part of you can still whisper: "I will try again tomorrow"
