HELP WHAT DO I EAT!
Everyone's surgeon requires something different. To get the best answer, you will have to ask him/her. For my liquid stage, I had plain chicken broth occasionally but mostly just sipped on water and diluted apple juice.
For my soft foods, I ate string cheese, yogurt, and eggs, sometimes a little cream of wheat for good measure.
Good luck and I wish you a quick recovery!!

Everyone is different as for what their surgeon/nutritionist wants them to do. Ask for help. However, this is what I had on hand at home until I was back on "real" food.
Liquid
SF jell-o
SF popsicles
chicken broth
beef broth
WATER
skim milk
protein powder (for shakes)
Soft/Pureed
eggs
soft cheese (laughing cow)
skim milk
protein powder
WATER
cottage cheese
SF applesauce
low sugar yogurt
SF FF pudding
I was so glad to actually be able to "chew" again. I introduced solid foods slowly once I was cleared. Some things I still don't tolerate well, and I frequently have my liquid/soft/pureed foods on hand. In my case, the first few weeks were a wonder in a lack of appetite. I couldn't have cared less about food. Make sure you get in as much water and such as you can. Walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip. It will all come back to you eventually.
Good Luck!
