A plea to post-ops

To anyone who's shrinking right now, please think about going through your closets and posting what you have on this forum. The clothing exchange is currently dead, and not coming back... and we are the most awesome networking site for so many things, why should we not take advantage of this?

When I posted about some of the extra stuff I had, I had SO many people respond to me and tell me of their great need for clothes, so I thought I'd plead their case to everyone.

If y'all have people in your area its sooooo much cheaper than mailing everything out all over, but either way it's very cost efficient. think about it!

if i lived in the states i would def share my cloths i have lots of cute dresses. and jeans.......
i wish someone had given me her cloth when i was losing the weight. buuu.

I have been giving alot of clothes to my sister in law. And if no one can use the clothes I have they are going to Goodwill.

yeah, I gave a lot of my pre-op clothes to a friend. and I think that's great. I don't have anything against goodwill, i think they do good stuff- I guess I'm partial to my OH family and wanted to remind people they could give them to eachother. that's all

Oh thats totaly cool ! I may have one person from one of the boards I can pass clothes on too !

 I am giving whatever fits my mom to her and then sorting through things to see if I can consign it.  If I have left overs from that, I'd be happy to share with others.

Though I wouldn't mind giving my clothes up to the wonderful people here at OH, I'm afraid I just donated them all.

To a friend! Her surgery date is June 22. I'm very excited to help her out.

Our plan is whatever I'm done with goes to her.

It's just too bad that I had my surgery first. Now I'm out looking for cheap clothes. Woo hoo for goodwill.

I've got a little bit of stuff I can give away. Mostly just 3XL shirts and maybe a few pairs of jeans in the 48-50s size range. If anyone wants them they can have them (just message me...although there is a disproportionate amount of burnt orange shirts in there.....hook 'em horns!)

and just because I'm a senior and I feel "challenged" by mr. texas- of all of my hand me downs in the future, here's my disclaimer: there's a disproportionately large amount of orange and green- It's great to be a Miami Hurricane ;)

sounds like at least everyone replying is finding good ways to put their clothes to use. I should figure out some way to pester the others, haha.
