Going back to work
Hello All
Well i should be going back to work on Saturday night. I'm feeling great and it's obvious i have lost some weight BUT I am dreading the question OVER AND OVER "how much have you lost so far?"
What have you said to others? Many know I had the surgery, I'm not too private but as many of you know it' not all about the numbers...
what would you tell them?
thank you

To others who have never battled obesity, it IS all about numbers. Make up a number if you have to. It doesn't matter. Be proud of what you've accomplished. We've been very brave. I've lost 30 lbs. and I'm proud to say I've lost 30 lbs. I pretty much rub it in their face. If they're rude enough to ask then I'm rude enough to strut it. Work it girl.
LOL WOOT WOOT, you go girl!!

i work in a call center and i tell anyone who asks...and i swear i get asked like 2 times a day. I honestly dont care anymore...even about telling people ive had surgery, i took a full 6 weeks off after surgery and i KNEW people would be asking where the heck i was...so i just tell them the truth.
If it bothers u at all, i would say something like...oh i dont weigh myself except for at my appointments with my surgeon.
p.s. I had the willpower to weigh myself only at appointments
