I got my first fill!

Well today I went to my one month post-op check up and my dr. said that I'm doing great for not having a fill yet. I got a fill today and it was 4cc's in a 9cc band. It was kinda a weird feeling but since they numbed it it didn't hurt. Can't wait to see the lbs start to fall off again. Plus I'm cleared to start exercising and swimming and doing what ever else I want which is nice.

You have done freakin awesome without having a fill!! Good luck... i hope you get some good restriction on ur first one! And yay for being able to exercise now get to work lol jk

it wasn't to bad, I was kinda nervous. my surgeon's assistant did the fill and had me lay down on my back and she felt for my port and then cleaned the area and numbed it and then she gave me a fill which I didn't feel the needle going in or coming out but I could feel the sailine going into the band. She put it all in and then took it all out and put it back in to make sue it was in the right place.
