XP: How do you store your spices ?

I'm tryijng to organize my kitchen and would like suggestions.

umm I don't know how so to answer this but my uncle has tiers in his cabinets..kinda like stadium seats and you can see each spice and they go down lower on each level. I want to try that. seems nice because mine is all mixed up.

Hey thats the way my spices are. I like the hunt too. LOL

Have a 2 level revolving thingamajig... You load it full of spices and then you spin it to the right spot to find the spice you want. Hunt still exists since you never put it back where it was. :)

Also if it is more than 6 months old, I would replace it. Dried spices have a shelf life too. It wont hurt you, but it wont taste as it should. And always try to use fresh spice/herbs when you can. And those last a week or so in the fridge.
