Stalling already?
So it's been 2 weeks since my surgery and I haven't lost any weight in around 5 or 6 days.
I keep going between 93 and 94 kgs (204 and 206lbs) I've heard of people stalling a month out... but not the second week O_O. I know I don't have much to loose, but still. it's just a little weird to loose 14lbs the first week and absoloutly nothing the next.
Any suggestions on why this is? I'm still on the puree diet for another week to 2 weeks.
What can I do to kickstart it? Or what could I be doing wrong?

I think if you are following the surgeons instructions you can't be doing anything wrong. Your body is probably just adjusting to the 14lbs you've lost already..which remember is a TON to lose in a weeks time. Keep doing what you are doing and the lbs will come off, I promise! The same thing has happened to me a number of times since my surgery, don't let it discourage you....stalls happen to everyone at different times.

I did not lose any weight my first 2 weeks post-op... just be patient and keep following Drs orders and the weight will start to come off - there is nothing you are doing wrong and there is no need to kickstart what will happen on its own... your body has been thru a major surgery and is taking a little break :-)

hey girl,
sorry to hear you're going through a stall so early- I haven't lost any weight in the last 4 or 5 days either even though I lost about five lbs a week the first two weeks I was home. I would second what everyone else says. It's so easy to get so excited about the scale victories, but don't get too wrapped up in them... they will absolutely fluctuate and (also often) not make any sense. I think the key for me has been to just keep basic tabs on it, and only really look at trends every week or few weeks.
hows the eating? and the feeling hungry/full?

As someone told me lately, everyone deserves the chance to fly!
