Shopping WOW!
Hey Guys!
I just wanted to share my little shopping wow that I had this weekend. I have been feeling kind of blah because the scale hasn't budged in what feels like forever! So, this weekend, I decided to do some measurements and some shopping. From the last time I measured (which was 2 weeks ago) I am down 16 more inches! 7 of which were in my waist! I couldn't believe it. I was on a little high from that excitement, so I went shopping. I went to my usual plus size stores and was having a hard time finding shirts that fit. So, just for the heck of it, I went into Old Navy. I grabbed the largest size pants they had (which were 20's) and largest shirts (which were XXL) and tried them on. To my surprise...they were all too big! I grabbed 18's and XL shirts and they fit wonderfully. I couldn't believe it! For the first time in YEARS I was able to shop at Old Navy! Not only that, I wasn't the largest size in the store! I was feeling brave and decided to continue walking around the mall. I ended up in Sears and walked right past the plus size section and into the Misses section. Again, I found some really cute stuff and couldn't believe it! I am officially able to shop in "normal" stores!
Then, to top it off, I walked into work this morning (feeling good in one of my new outfits!) and my boss looked at me and said "Oh my God! I haven't seen you for 2 days and I swear you have shrunk 2 sizes!" It has made my Monday MUCH easier to deal with.

16 lbs lost pre-op
wooowwww. i love this kindda woow. moments.. is geat to be able to shop at the same stores. this last week ( when i went to houston `cuz we don´t have that stores in mexico) I was able to shop 4 the 1th time at forver xxi and aeropostal and hollister it was great and i GOT SOME SMALL PANTS FROM OLD NAVY!!! keep it up you will be there in no time!
This is THE BEST wow moment! Watch out for your credit cards though. The next best milestone is when you go to a shopping center with designer outlets and you fit into clothes in EVERY store. I walked away spending $300 that day in spite of making a deal with myself that I'd ONLY shop clearance!!
Shopaholics watch out! Gastric Bypass Surgery results are EXPENSIVE! (And great! Hehehe!)
