Starting My Journey!!!

I found the 20's forum and I am so glad the rest of the forums are harder to relate to becasue of age....Anyway I have had my first appt. on April 3 2009 and had all intentions of having LapBand but have now changed to RNY becasue I have about 170lbs to lose...I go for my Psych Eval on Monday April 13 2009 so I am hoping everything works out and I get my approval fast so I can get on the Losing Track :o)...Nikki

Hey There Girly! Congrats on making a great decision! Exciting Stuff! I would love to loose 170 too! lol Well make sure you update us with how things are going!

I will keep you posted I wanna make youtube videos as well so i can see my progress I have been watching videos of some girls and it is freaking amazing of the changes they have made...

Congratz on your choice to start this journey! I had the realize band done on march 20th and I had about 150 to lose to reach my goal. So far I've lost 45lbs including pre-op and post-op weight loss. It can be done, but this is a completely personal choice and I hope the RNY works great for you! Hope you get approved soon and can join us on the loser's bench( thats a good thing)!
