wls and shin issues when your a 20 something
It depends. You might be able to tone up with just exercise alone but sometimes no amount of exercise will make a difference as far as loose skin goes. I have the latter problem....I know I'm going to have some excess in my arm, upper thigh and tummy area ( I've had a baby though, too). It just depends on what you are comfortable with, some people don't mind and just cover up the excess, some get plastic surgery to look better and for others they get surgery because it's a medical/hygiene issue.
You won't know for sure until you are at your goal weight. Lifting weights will help the muscle tone but true loose skin will be loose no matter what.
Hope that helps!

Sometimes with rapid weight loss loose skin is to be expected. If your lucky it won't be that bad. If you not than know it was expected. Some do fine and don't have the issue and some do get loose skin but guess what. They are healthier, they added years to their life, and they lost heavy excess weight. so the trade off is skin to weight is a great trade if you ask me.
