My problem is I am not losing the weight and I am not getting my period I got it once since my surgery on 2/2/09 and what I am seeing is that I have been losing inches but not weight. I am in a size 12 now which is better then the 18 I was in. I am working out 3-4 times a week and taking a body pump class which the logo is "When your body screams tell it to shut up" So I can tell I am building a little muscle but I have only lost 5 lbs in the month of march. Its just bumming me out and I am thinking that maybe its cause they did the surgery wrong. I am however not doing protein shakes I am trying to get in my protein by eating meats cheese and milk. Anyone have any suggestions?

as hard as I tried, getting all my protein in with just foods has (to this day) been an uphill battle...
I've NEVER been a gym person, and my only real exercise is walking with my bulldog everyday...
BUT...I did find a strange pattern with my weight loss early on...if I didn't get AT LEAST 80oz. of water in a day...I stalled...
I used the 40g Isopure juice bottles to cover the protein I couldn't eat..I just couldn't gag down shakes after the first three days (even now I cringe thinking of them!)
also, my NUT had me try adding 100 more calories a day for a week when I stalled, and sure enough, I started losing again...I actually wasn't eating enough to keep my body running in "loser" mode...

If you hate water, try adding some of those Crystal Light to go packets in them. They are great and only have like 5 calories. I did find some at the store, same brand, that have protein and fiber in them. I think they are called Crystal Light Hunger Control in strawberry banana flavor which wasn't too bad. It's only like 5 grams of protein, but hey...every little bit helps.

carmen, i am so jealous!! i would love to be a size 12!! hell when i got into a size 22 i was tickled.
sorry to hear about the stall....im in one too. It sucks! I need to get my ass to the gym! I just cant find motivation. I am moving and packing and working full time with school, and its just a lot on my plate.
I hate protein shakes....gag! I am so sick of drinking lactose free milk w/ unjury powder...yuck! I need to find another source, but i can taste the protein...and its gross. I go to see hunter next month so maybe he can give me some ideas!
