I can't differentiate hunger from my rumbly gas! lol

try to eat the amount of food that your stage let you. what your dr. say.... messure your food. so it can help you to get started...

Doing alot better now :) The incisions don't hurt so bad anymore.
I'm measuring out 4 tablespoons of food and eating 1 tablespoon every 15 minutes for an hour. if that makes sense.
But im just not feeling anything that stands out as though it's me saying 'im full'.

yeah it makes sense. for me it was the same i did not feet full. but  at the same time you can´t eat much. `cuz u just don´t feel like it. i rembember than about 5 days out I was able to nish a full cup of  musshie vegie soup. it felt soo good in my pouch. but you are gonna star feeling the restriction when you start your soft solids and the ful solids. just take it easy. I always stoped before I felt the unconfurtable feeling of been full.

I'm totally having that problem too. I'm hoping my body will like, pick back up and start figuring things out. Right now it's like, I think I may be hungry... my stomach feels weird. but then I eat a little, and just kinda stop arbitrarily. Let me know if you find any tricks. I also feel like I've been eating frequently... again, I guess I'm not sure if it's hunger pains or just a weird urge to eat, or something else is going on. having a sleeve is weird!

As someone told me lately, everyone deserves the chance to fly!

Holy crap! that's exactly what it's like for me!
But im like, nooo it can't be hunger pains cause they cut that part of the stomach out! But the gargles feel exactly like when you are hungry! i'm hoping it's just the gas...
I feel like i've been eating frequently but i don't know, i had like 3 tablespoons of apple sauce this morning then for lunch i had this cereal we call wheetbix and i let it soak up the milk and i ate about half of the reccomended size my dietition gave me, then i had about 2-3 tablespoons of this soup and now i'm having a protien shake i made. am i eating too much? I have no idea O_O

did you ask on the sleeve forum? they tend to know more, since they've already had that all happen. For me, I don't want to ask cause I don't want to know- as long as I'm not seriously getting more than like 1000 calories (which I'm relatively sure is impossible for me right now) then I'm letting myself figure it out. I feel like it's worth it to try to listen to what my body is telling me and get used to the new cues rather than eating a predefined amount that someone told me was right.

It sounds like, though you are eating more frequently, you're eating very little at each sitting. which is exactly like me, and I can't imagine is a problem. do you have an idea how many calories you're getting?

I am a recent VSG, on week 3 now fixing to hit week 4 and loving it but I have noticed that as well i really dont have a "full" feeling any more. well i do but it is all the time. I drink some water i am full i eat a bite of food i am full. One thing that helps is i wait until my nose starts to run if that starts i know i ate to much and i will regret it. And another way is like what someone else said they told me i would be able to have 3 to 4 ounces of food  so i eat that and if kinda wait it out to see if i am satisfied. Good luck. definatly getting under 1000 cals a day. Everything's ok now though haha I weighed myself today (we finally got scales) And i've lost 13lbs in one week! So i must be doing something right haha
I'm starting to recognize the feeling, i feel uncomfertable so i just stop, thats after about 1 tablespoon full of food, so i stop and wait about 15 mins till i have another spoon full, but im probably eating about 800 or less cals and getting about 45 - 50 grams of protein in at the moment, the protien intake will get better as the swelling goes down and as i get onto soft foods but my doctor said the main thing at the moment is to keep myself hydrated with fluid foods so yeah but all is well now... i hope haha
