I am new to all of this and will welcome any and all advice. I am at the starting stage(s) of all of this and see my surgeon for the first time at the end of this month for the Gastric Bypass... I am so nervous about getting approved by the insurance... I have Aetna... I will follow all direction to get there... I would like to meet new ppl in this journey that are going / been through what I am...

Look forward to hearing from you...

Hi there! welcome to the boards! It's great that your taking the first steps to getting healthy. I have BlueCross, but I think as long as you do what's required it's not that bad. The wait is the worst! any questions feel free to ask!

Welcome to the 20's board!  Waiting is hard but just try to do exactly as they tell you and constantly check to make sure you're not missing anything.  The process will, hopefully, go much smoother.
