Vent
Hey guys! I don't know if this is because of my surgery or not, but I'm in a rut and can't get myself out of it. Tomorrow I will be 7 weeks post-op and have lost 39 lbs. I know that is great and all, but I feel like I should have lost more by now. I'm 5'9" and started off at 296#. I'm having trouble eating, I'm always nauseated. I'm never hungry, so I forget to eat a lot of times, or don't want to because I will end up gettting sick afterwards. I don't want to do anything or go out anywhere. I'm tired all the time but can't sleep. I just feel so lonely. My husband and I are constantly fighting, the money siutation sucks right now. I don't know, I'm just venting.....thanks for listening
I`m sorry you are having a hard time. adn 39 lbs in two months is great!!! i lost about 30 in more thatn 7 weeks . so u are not doing bad at all! and if you are not eating enough that might be the reas0n you are not loosing you need to get as much protein as possible to lose the weight. and if u can´t keep fluids down. you should ask your surgeron. about the neausea. it can be beacuase you are dehydratated so keep siping...
and what you mean about having trouble eating? u can´t keep down the food?. or you are just having bad time.eting..... but please don´t forget to eat. is very importatn.
take care.
hugs

first... 39 lbs is great girl!
as I'm sure you've read..
there will be ups.. there will be downs..
good days and bad..
the scale will agree with you.. then stop talking to you..
and all of a sudden start saying what you want to hear again..
it's allll a part of the journey..
you will see other changes that will show this IS working for you.
take pictures.. try different activities.. try on clothes..
look at old pics.. and look at yourself now..
start a journal.. sometimes that helps too..
then you also gotta get to basics.
are you eating the right amount? are you getting in your protein?
are you taking your vits?
are you getting your water in??--- this is very very very important--but it can be challenging early out.
are you moving to lose yet?
at 7 weeks you are fairly new out.. and still adjusting
so don't worry -- just keep at it!
this is a journey that is so much more than the destination.

Awwww im sorry your having a hard time..... 39 lbs is great!!! Your gonna get to your goal in time...everyones body adjusts differently and moves at there own pace!!! Im sure you will start feeling better once this weather starts getting warm and staying warm...and EVERYONE is having financial problems just because how messed up our economy is!!! Things will get better girl!!! Just keep your head up:)
The start is really bad! You have to make sure that you are getting enough protein water and rest you did have a Major surgery recently and your body is recovering from it! I am not sure of the amount of protein that you need but make sure you are getting it in through bullets or shakes or food! Also make sure you are getting your fluids that is Major since getting dehydrated is really bad it happened to me 3 times since I was unable to keep anything down. Also talk to your doctor about nausea meds ask him about the patches or the ones that dissolve in your mouth they both work great and I still use them! Good luck.

the food and protein will give you energy to get moving and get up and going with your day and not feel so down, also the exercising will help with that too. I feel lonley a lot too! It's hard if you don't have anyone around... I don't have friends, because i just moved to a new area, who am i kidding- 2 years ago- and i just can't make friends, because who wants to be friends with the fat girl from another country? thats what i think people in my neighborhood presume anyways, but whatever. yeah, sorry... tangent... like i said i have no friends, so when i get the chance to talk i get carried away. i'm sorry about you and the hubby- my DH and i fight over money a lot too- its rough. in 7 weeks you've lost 39 lbs! I've lost a little more than that but i'm way further out that you... thats amazing! You're doing great! Just try to get your protein in because it will help your tiredness and you're weight loss. Good luck honnie.
You guys are the best. Thanks for listening. I know when I exercise I always feel better, I just don't have the energy to do it. I also feel like if I'm burning off 400 of the 600 cals I manage to get in then I'm not going to lose weight because I'm not getting enough in. I dunno. I have a nut appt on Friday that I actually have to reschedule (stupid work!) but I'll see what she says when I go. Food is so boring, nothing tastes right, I probably get sick every other time I eat. Protein shakes are making me so nauseated lately
