I need your sympathy...That wonderful boyfriend I had for over a year just broke up with me for absolutly no reason. He was so supportive through the whole process of me getting WLS and now all of a sudden he has been distant and now its officially over...Im just sad and needed to write it out to know its real. Thanks for listening.

Poor thing. I went through a break up not too long ago, so I get what you're feeling. It's gonna be rough, pull you'll through. Everything happens for a reason.

awwwwwwwwwww bless your heart!  What is wrong with these men?  I told you mine dumped me last week.  and he is a preacher. lol. If  I were not so happy from this surgery I would be really depressed.  BUT  we are going to survive because we are strong and we are already a great catch and we are only going to get better.  You hang in there!  You are young and pretty....there are going to be men lined up to date you!

 Awww thank you! I'm sorry your Beau dumped you, such ******** these guys are!! He should know better being a preacher!! My friends and family keep telling me I'm going to be swatting them off like flies in a couple of months, so I'm looking forward to that. Thanks again for the pick me up!

I am so sorry. I know first hand how painful a break-up can be. I can tell you, however, that there IS a reason. Whether or not he wants to tell you that reason or be honest about it is a different story. Don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying YOU are the reason...you may have nothing to do with it, but whatever it is - there IS a reason. Maybe you already know in your heart of hearts what that reason is. Regardless, please know that no matter how painful it may be, you WILL move past this and be a better person for it. I hate to be cliche but it's so true...this too shall pass. And please know too that he is/was not the only source of support you have while going thru WLS. That's why we're here!!! Hang in there sweetie. Snuggle up with a blanket and watch some movies (comedies, NOT chick flicks!) Lol.

Awww thanks guys. I went out an bought a bunch of funny movies and a lot of sappy music and spent the day on the couch crying and laughing. I found out his reasoning is that the stress of me leaving him when i get thin again is too much for him LOL coward!! I'm still really upset but like the last post this too shall pass. On a side note I'm starving LMAO In this situation i would normally go out and get a pizza and popcorn and eat myself stupid. Now i curled up on the couch with my cottage cheese. Oh how my life has changed lol. Thank you for all your support, I really needed it today. Stupid boys!

Beleive it or not, that happens a lot. Men start dating you one way and expect you to stay that way. If they are insecure and they think or KNOW that you can do better then they freak out and leave you. I have heard a lot of my older friends getting divorced after they lost weight. Their men actually ended up with large women again. It's so funny what men say they want and then they go and do something dumb like that. You need to be okay with him leaving, I know that's harder to do then say but he doesn't sound like he can handle you anyway. The men will come.... oh and you will not know what to do with yourself. He will be just a memory, you'll see :) Women are so powerful, and our men need to be too!
