Having a difficult time....
hmm! i am having such a difficult time STILL keeping water/drinks down.
i try like hell to get in all my water threw out the day, but its HARD.
I was told not to drink with a straw, but it seems like the only way i can get it in with out feeling throwy-uppey.
How do you guys get all your water in threw out the day.
Does anyone else have this problem??
Drink with a straw. The only reason they say not to is because you might swallow air. I think it's a dumb rule, and I've broken it without ill effects.
Also, sometimes when I drink cold stuff I feel kind of crampy, nauseated. Maybe your liquids are too cold? Just a thought.
I have some 16.5 oz. and 20 oz. plastic bottles, and I hardly ever drink just plain water--i do crystal light "on the go," and I know that if I do 3 bottles a day plus my boost-accinos (boost + decaf) I am A-OK.
It is tough, basically, in order to get it right I have to have a bottle of something in my hand all day long. It's cool, though, it keeps me from getting hungry.
YOU CAN DO IT!!

I'm a bit over 3 months out and I am just now being able to get the amount of water recomended by my doctor. I also used straws in the beginning, because I couldn't drink otherwise. I love Crystal Light to go packets, just mix it with a bottle of water, and voila! I've since made it a habit to take a water bottle with me everywhere I go. Don't worry, you are likely still a bit swollen and that will dissipate with time. :)
