The curse (Ladies only)

 So I'm pretty sure I'm going to bleed to death.

I screwed up my BC right after surgery cause I kept forgetting to take it. So I got my period 4 days out from surgery. Then, two weeks later around the time I would have normally gotten my period, it came again! And now I've had it for over a week (when normally it only lasts 3 days)! Now, Sunday I'm supposed to stop my pills and then I assume I'm going to get my period again! I am pretty sure that at the end of this all, there will be no blood left and I will have bled to death. Anyone else experience anything like this? Not to mention, I have always been border line anemic and there past few days, no matter what I do, I can't get warm. I'm constantly freezing and it's awful. I have been taking iron pills but there's not much iron in anything else I'm allowed to eat. 

This is so frustrating!!! Suggestions? 

I can understand what your talking about. I had my period 2 weeks before surgery and then like 3 days before surgery (while taking my bc which is the nuvaring) I started spotting and it has just progressively gotten heavier since surgery. Now I've been on for over a week and it doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon, I think I'm going to call my gyno on monday and see if she thinks everything is ok with me, I've never spotted in between periods while on the nuvaring. Hope yours gets better soon

the hormones are like really crazy after surgery.... so it might get some times for all of that to be normal again. but call your Dr. he can help you with that. and also  BC. is something to be very carful about. so call ur gyno.
